Economic success and corporate responsibility are inextricably linked.Symrise - always inspiring more...Your roleSupport Flavorists in a timely manner to meet flavor development deadlines, including projects of moderate complexity with guidance.Maintain and clean the laboratory; manage inventory of raw materials, solvents, and supplies.Demonstrate understanding of the customer base (including beverage/alcohol segments) and prioritize project activities accordingly.Apply working knowledge of flavor regulatory and legal requirements to support project and customer needs.Assist the applications team by compounding flavor samples, particularly for beverage systems when required.Collaborate effectively with Flavorists and cross-functional teams (Regulatory, QC, Production, Sensory, Shipping, Marketing).Provide support for beverage portfolio management activities as needed.About youMinimum of two years of college in a science or math-related field, or equivalent laboratory experience.At least two years of experience in the food and flavor industry.Proficient in laboratory equipment and handling flavor chemicals, including weighing, blending, and compounding finished flavors.Strong math and computer skills (SAP preferred) for recording formulations.Basic chemistry knowledge, including dilutions and identification of chemical groups.Ability to evaluate flavors in food and beverage applications (including alcoholic systems) without dietary restrictions.Safety training for working conditions in a chemical laboratory and handling of laboratory equipment and hazardous substances.Our offerBecome part of our open and transparent culture.
