Role name: Infra Terraform SCE Work site: US (Remote) Description and Location Terraform Expert – Specialty Cloud Engineer (SCE) Role Overview We are seeking a Terraform Expert – Specialty Cloud Engineer (SCE) with strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation, and scalable platform engineering. The role will focus on designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform across enterprise environments. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Terraform modules and reusable IaC frameworksAutomate provisioning of cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, storage, IAM)Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines integrating Terraform for deploymentsImplement infrastructure state management (remote backends, locking mechanisms)Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to enable cloud-native architecturesEnsure security, compliance, and governance through policy-as-code and best practicesOptimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalabilityTroubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide operational supportDrive IaC standardization and promote reusable architecture patternsRequired Skills & Qualifications5+ years in cloud engineering / DevOps / platform engineeringStrong hands-on experience with Terraform (advanced level)Experience with at least one cloud platform: GCPExpertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practicesExperience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security best practicesProficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)Experience with version control systems (Git)Preferred QualificationsExperience with Kubernetes (GKE/EKS/AKS) and containerized deploymentsExposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environmentsExperience with monitoring and observability toolsRelevant certifications (Terraform Associate, Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer)
