Education Assistant Specialist - Coach

Position InformationThis position is an 8 hour/day position, scheduled to work 190 days per year. This position will be paid at the current hourly rate of the incumbent plus an additional $1.20 per hour as a stipend. The term of service is five (5) years with the option to add an additional year. This position reports to Theresa Wallace, Special Projects Manager.Functional Class ResponsibilitiesIn collaboration with district and program leaders, supports the implementation of district-wide and program specific practices including but not limited to: academic and behavioral interventions, MTSS, Domain 5 and the district's Equity scope and sequence.In collaboration with program leaders and classroom teachers, conducts coaching cycles with Education Assistant Specialist staff. This could include classroom observations to collect baseline data, feedback sessions, development of helpful strategies and modeling of skills.Provides ongoing training and support to first year Education Assistant Specialists and external partners (ex.
