Production Supervisor

Title: Production SupervisorLocation: Henderson, KYDuration: 3 Month Contract + Possibility of ExtensionShift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)Note: Those Candidates who can work on W2 basis without any sponsorship are encouraged to apply.Description:Supervisor all employees in your department and manage the flow of productionForward thinking and self-motivated in continuous improvement production systems.Assure 5S throughout facilityFocus on improving product and process capabilityAble to coach and give disciplinary notices to employees when necessary.Schedule and post overtime requirements when necessary.Liaison to Team Leaders on all Shifts (Coach, Lead, & Direct)Willing to accept phone calls during off hoursActively participate in all aspects of quality control as it relates to daily productionInvolved in problem solving and corrective actions related to production issues.Verify work standards / set up sheets, quality checkpoint sheets and all other production related documents are present at the point of use and up to date and employees follow them.Analyze repairs and scrap trends on daily basis and implement immediate and long-term corrective actions to achieve yearly scrap goals and plant efficiency.Monitor vacation/bonus days and attendance of employees in your department.Update and assess employee-training matrix at all times.Lead and audit shop floor safety and training for employees in your departmentSupports, enforces and complies with all company policies and procedures.In charge of completing performance evaluations on employees.Administer ADP Etime/PayrollPerform other duties as assigned or required. Skills Required: Minimum 1-year previous supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment Skills Preferred: Minimum 1-year previous supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment Education RequiredHigh school required Education PreferredBachelor's or associate preferred
