Software Engineer

We're seeking a back-end focused software engineer with experience building scalable applications and services in modern development environments. This individual should have a strong foundation in application architecture, API development, and deploying software within containerized environments. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical challenges, collaborating across teams, and delivering secure, maintainable solutions. This is a fully remote, direct hire opportunity.Required ExperienceAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance (will start without and not guaranteed that will be processed for one)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience5+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise software applicationsStrong experience building and maintaining back-end services and APIsHands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production environmentsExperience working with server-side API frameworks and service-oriented architecturesUnderstanding of software design best practices, object-oriented principles, and maintainable code patternsExperience working within Agile development environmentsAbility to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred Technical BackgroundExperience developing and supporting microservices-based applicationsHands-on experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar)Familiarity with cloud-hosted or cloud-ready applicationsExperience working with relational databases, data pipelines, ETL processes, or large-scale data environmentsExposure to event-driven or streaming architecturesUnderstanding of secure software development and application security practicesExperience integrating with enterprise business platforms or third-party SaaS applications
