ABA/RLT Therapist
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated ABA/RLT Therapist to join our clinical team, providing essential behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with diverse populations requiring patient care and assessment. Duties
Implement individualized behavioral therapy programs based on ABA principles tailored to each client’s needs
Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans
Collect, analyze, and document data related to client progress and behavior changes accurately and consistently
Maintain detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
Assist with intake procedures, including initial evaluations and treatment planning sessions
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support client development and progress
Provide patient care by monitoring behavioral health status and adjusting interventions as necessary
Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards and proper documentation of all therapeutic activities
Support the implementation of special education strategies within therapy sessions when appropriate
Skills
Proven experience in behavioral therapy, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
Strong background working with children, individuals with autism, and those with developmental or disabilities needs
Skilled in data collection, analysis, and reporting to track client progress effectively
Knowledge of medical documentation processes, medical terminology, and patient assessment procedures
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and sensitive information
Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with clients’ families and healthcare teams
Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations within behavioral health settings
Compassionate patient care approach with a focus on individualized treatment plans
Experience in intake procedures, behavioral health assessments, and treatment documentation
