Job Description Responsibilities:The job responsibilities of both host and cashier are similar in that they serve to frame the dining experience of our guests.The initial greeting by the host/hostess sets the tone – he/she should be friendly and helpful! As the guests leave, it is important that they see a sincere appreciation from the host staff for dining with at the restaurant and that the guests are invited to return again. They will take home with them a clear picture of a superior dining experience. Remember to always be cheerful, helpful and appreciative.You never get a second chance to make a good first impression!
