Role Description Claery & Hammond, LLP is seeking a full-time Family Law Litigation Attorney to join our team hybrid and or on-site at our San Diego or Los Angeles, CA locations. The attorney will handle all aspects of family law cases, including client consultations, drafting motions, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court hearings and trials. Additional responsibilities include managing client relationships, preparing legal documentation, and negotiating settlements while ensuring that clients receive comprehensive legal guidance throughout their cases. Qualifications Proven experience in family law litigation, including knowledge of applicable state laws and procedures.Strong abilities in legal writing, drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.Proficiency in preparing for and performing legal research to support case strategies and arguments.Effective trial advocacy skills to represent clients in court and settlement discussions adequately.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive client relationships and interact professionally in a team-oriented environment.Ability to manage multiple cases effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain a high standard of legal accuracy and professionalism.Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California.Experience in high-conflict custody cases or complex property division is a plus.
