Sales & Pricing Analyst

Overview: The Sales and Pricing Analyst role is responsible for analyzing pricing strategies and evaluating competitive pricing models, including claim-back and rebate analysis, to support our company’s profitability and growth objectives. This role will work cross-functionally with our Channel and Sales teams to develop and implement effective pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, financial modeling, and market research with a keen understanding of pricing dynamics. Responsibilities: Essential Job Functions: Monitor and analyze pricing data to optimize profitability. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and channel teams to develop pricing initiatives. Assist with developing pricing strategies that align with business objectives. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Utilize data-driven insights to forecast pricing scenarios and their impacts on overall performance. Monitor and evaluate pricing performance against targets and recommend adjustments as necessary. Identify opportunities for pricing improvements and cost efficiencies. Oversee claim-back programs to ensure accurate and timely recovery of funds. Communicate with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve any discrepancies related to claim-backs. Prepare and present regular reports on claim-back performance and trends to leadership. Analize vendor rebate programs to maximize profitability. Assist with tracking, auditing, and analyzing rebate performance, ensuring accuracy and timely receiving of rebates. Other duties as assigned by the Pricing Manager. Qualifications: Essential Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Economics preferred. 3 – 5 years of pricing analysis or related role in similar industry required. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis. Experience with pricing software and ERP systems is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to present to executive team required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel required.
