We believe in these words so much that it’s written on the walls in our center.What are we looking for?We are looking for a Lead Coding Instructor to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our Senseis are the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas center. This individual oversees the day-to-day coaching and student engagement. Are you experienced in working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem-solving skills in young engineering minds? Have you mentored youth? This could be the role for you.Responsibilities IncludeComplete training on the Code Ninjas curriculum and teaching systemsCreate a positive, engaging, and safe environment where students can learn and growWork with children to identify skill levels and provide individualized supportAssist with student onboarding and provide feedback to parents after tours and trial sessionsFollow daily opening and closing proceduresMaintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dojo according to corporate standardsReport weekly to the Center Assistant Manager regarding student progress and center operationsReport daily to the Center Manager regarding activities, productivity, and overall dojo performanceSupport camps, events, and other center activities as neededQualificationsMust be 18 years of age or olderMust be able to work on-site at our Canton, Massachusetts locationPrevious experience working with children ages 7+ (mentoring, tutoring, coaching, childcare, etc.)Experience working with the general public and providing excellent customer serviceStrong communication and teamwork skillsComfortable learning and teaching basic coding and technology conceptsEnergetic, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentMust enjoy working with kids and creating a fun learning atmosphereGrowth OpportunitiesCode Ninjas is a rapidly growing organization, and strong team members have opportunities for career progression into leadership and management roles within the center.About UsCode Ninjas® is the world’s largest and fastest-growing kids coding franchise, with hundreds of locations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
