Let’s take a closer look at the role.Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for picking products, handling, scanning, storing and reporting any quality, damages or overage and shortages to supervisor.Key ResponsibilitiesPick products and prepare for distribution.Handle, scan, and store products accurately.Report overages, shortages, and damages to the supervisor.Audit inventory as requested.Ensure accurate placement of scanned inventory.Work EnvironmentFast-paced warehouse environment.Frequent interaction with warehouse team members and supervisors.Requires physical movement including standing, walking, lifting, and material handling.QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent.ExperiencePrior warehouse experience preferredExperience with basic computer systems and scan guns.Comfortable operating warehouse equipment.Personality TraitsStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective interpersonal communication.Team-oriented and dependable.Physically able to handle freight.Additional InformationPay / Benefits / PerksHourly Rate: $16.75–$17.50 per hour + 2nd & 3rd shifts include a $3.00 premium where applicableAccrue up to five days PTO in first year.
