Reports to the Director or Manager of DepartmentPerforms plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.Participate in performance improvement and continuing educationMaintains regular and reliable attendance.Performs other duties as assigned.Additional InformationPatient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.Exposure: Regular occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials.Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movementsWhy Join Us:We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
