Personal Care Aide Job Openings Company Overview Easy Living Country Estates is a spacious personal care and independent living facility nestled in the peaceful countryside just outside of New Stanton, PA. Position: Personal Care Aide As a Personal Care Aide at Easy Living Country Estates, you will be instrumental in promoting the health and wellness of our residents. This role is crucial to our mission of providing high-quality personal care services in a nurturing atmosphere. Available Shifts: 7A - 3P 3P - 11P 11P - 7A Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to: Offering additional support to new residents to facilitate their transition. Assisting residents with daily grooming, bathing, and dressing as necessary. Aiding in the development and updating of each resident’s Activities of Daily Living (ADL) plan. Managing personal laundry for residents weekly or as needed. Ensuring residents are present in the dining room during meal times and monitoring their food intake. Serving meals to residents from the kitchen. Supporting the activity program and conducting activities as directed or assigned by the supervisor. Assisting residents to appointments or activities. Providing one-on-one support and companionship to assigned residents in a patient and caring manner. Encouraging and reminding residents to join in activities and socialize. Communicating important information to other staff promptly and collaborating effectively with the team. Treating all residents with dignity and respect, responding to resident alarms promptly. Responsible for obtaining and returning the pager at the beginning and end of each shift. Handling resident and facility supplies with care and dressing appropriately. Must have reliable transportation. Arriving at work on time as scheduled. Additional Job Functions for Med Tech Reorder medications according to facility policy. Provide medication assistance when needed. Administer medications in accordance with Department of Health standards. Qualifications Certification as a Med Tech or equivalent qualification is preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare or personal care setting is beneficial. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with residents, families, and staff. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to assist others. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
