Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical EngineerI’m partnering with an early-stage space technology company developing next-generation hardware for spacecraft and space-based applications.They’re looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants genuine end-to-end ownership of PCB development. Rather than owning one small portion of a larger design, you’ll be responsible for taking electronics from initial requirements and concepts all the way through to manufactured, tested, working hardware.Despite being an early-stage company, the team has already gained significant traction within the space and defense ecosystem, securing multiple DoD contracts.Responsibilities:Own the full PCB development lifecycle, from requirements through to delivered hardware.Develop system-level electrical requirements and architectures.Perform schematic capture, component selection and PCB design/layout.Work directly with manufacturers to take boards through fabrication and assembly.Own board bring-up, testing, debugging and validation.Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.Strong hands-on experience developing PCBs from scratch.Experience with schematic capture, component selection and PCB layout.Experience within spacecraft, aerospace, defense, robotics or other complex hardware systems would be highly valuable.If you're an Electrical Engineer who enjoys building PCBs from the ground up and wants considerably more ownership than you'd typically get within a large aerospace organization, I'd like to hear from you.
