Analyst (Real Estate Investments - Private Equity)

Our client is a Private Equity Firm that invest primarily in Real Estate and Real Estate related investments, currently seeking to add a highly motivated Analyst/Senior Analyst to their growing Acquisitions/Investments Team. This opportunity is very well suited for a Real Estate professional who has passion for Investing and is looking for end to end deal exposure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deal analysis/ transaction execution (must possess superior modeling), origination, underwriting, and management of senior real estate debt investments across the U.S.Responsibilities:Analyze and underwrite commercial real estate debt investmentsProvide detailed due diligence on potential strategic growth opportunitiesCreate detailed financial analyses utilizing both Microsoft Excel and ARGUS to evaluate prospective and existing investmentsManage property cash flow models for leasing activities, capital expenditures, market leasing assumptions and capital markets assumptions.Review of company financials performance, attribution analysis, financial review, and creation of detailed models.Create cash flow models, sensitivity tables, rent roll analyses, and other financial analyses required to evaluate, pursue, and close debt investment opportunities.Prepare investment Committee Research presentation materialsCoordinate all aspects of transaction execution and deal closing process with Senior Management/Board of DirectorsPrepare investor communications, including but not limited to financial forecasts, reporting and financial estimatesSupport potential acquisition recommendations through statistical analysisWork with Compliance, Legal and Marketing TeamsOversee back-testing of investments analytical framework and cash-flow forecastsRequirements:Minimum of 1+ years Valuations/Asset Management or applicable (Private Equity/Real Estate) experience2+ years of professional experience mandatoryTop Academic pedigreeReal Estate Asset Management strongly preferredAdvanced Technical Skills; Strong quantitative and qualitative skillsARGUS Modeling experience requiredSuperior written and verbal communication skills
