Construction Estimator

D & B Builders, Inc. is a small commercial construction company located in Molino, FL and founded in 1985. While many companies are beginning to experience the benefits of design and build few can offer the responsibility of taking our clients from concept, to design, through construction, and finally to completion, which we boast of. We are currently seeking a Construction Estimator to join our team.Primary Job Duties include:Prepare estimates of costs of materials, labor, equipment and subcontracts for construction projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings, and specificationsPrepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of a projectPrepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractorsLiaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors, and prepare change orders and adjustments to cost estimatesManage and co-ordinate construction projects, and prepare construction progress schedulesMinimum Qualifications:Construction estimating experience preferredValid Drivers LicenseComputer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office productsEffective communication skillsA complete understanding of the construction processSome benefits of working for D & B Builders are:8 hour shifts, Monday – FridayCompetitive payGrowth opportunitiesEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee perks and discountsTuition reimbursementAdoption assistanceA good work/life balance
