Project Manager - Mechanical Services SalesA well-established mechanical services contractor is seeking a Project Manager ready to transition into a client-facing sales role. This position is ideal for someone who understands HVAC or mechanical systems and enjoys building customer relationships while identifying solutions that improve facility performance.This role focuses on developing and managing service relationships with commercial and institutional clients that rely on complex mechanical systems to operate efficiently. The right candidate will work closely with facility leaders, engineers, and operations teams to identify opportunities for repair, replacement, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades.Responsibilities include:Build and maintain long-term relationships with facility managers, engineers, and building ownersIdentify opportunities for mechanical service work, including repairs, system upgrades, and preventative maintenance agreementsConduct site visits to evaluate mechanical systems and understand client needsCollaborate with internal operations teams to develop service proposals and project scopesManage the transition of awarded work to the operations team while maintaining client communicationSupport long-term service strategies that improve system performance, reliability, and efficiencyTrack project opportunities and maintain an organized sales pipelineRepresent the company professionally within the commercial mechanical services marketThis role offers the opportunity to leverage technical experience while developing a long-term career in sales and client development.Requirements:Background in mechanical construction, HVAC service, or related building systemsExperience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role within mechanical contracting or building servicesStrong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, or facility infrastructureComfortable interacting with facility managers, engineers, and decision makersStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to identify project opportunities and guide customers toward practical solutionsOrganized and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneouslyDesire to transition from project execution into a sales-focused roleExperience with service agreements, preventative maintenance programs, or system upgrades is a plus
