If you’re looking for a role where your work supports something meaningful, this could be a strong fit.Position OverviewThe Senior Corporate Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting in accordance with internal policies and U.S. GAAP. This position is responsible for expense accounting, accruals, and prepaid accounts, along with supporting financial reporting and analysis.This individual will collaborate closely with Finance and cross-functional partners to drive efficient close processes, enhance reporting quality, and support ongoing financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to operating expenses, accruals, and prepaid accountsPrepare and post journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentationManage expense accounting, including review of classifications and accrual assumptionsPartner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete financial dataAnalyze fluctuations in expenses and provide clear insights to leadershipMonitor prepaid balances and ensure proper amortization in line with accounting policiesSupport cross-functional initiatives that improve financial visibility and alignmentIdentify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase efficiencyAssist with implementation or enhancement of accounting systems and toolsPrepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completenessRespond to ad hoc financial inquiries and analysis requestsSupport internal and external audit processes through preparation of schedules and documentationEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal reporting standardsContribute to special projects and additional responsibilities as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance4+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a large organization or public accounting environmentStrong experience with month-end close and general ledger processesProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelAbility to quickly learn new systems and toolsComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPreferred QualificationsCPA preferredDetail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and continuous improvementStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teamsTeam-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solvingService-oriented perspective with a focus on meeting internal stakeholder needsTrainingRole-specific training, including systems and compliance, will be provided based on job responsibilities.We are actively interviewing for this role.
