Sr. Product Engineer - Fluid Power & Pressure Control SystemsPneumatic and Hydraulic Company | Katy, TexasPneumatic and Hydraulic Company is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Engineer to take technical ownership of engineered fluid power and pressure control product lines. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting hydraulic, pneumatic, and high-pressure systems used in industrial applications.The ideal candidate applies strong engineering judgment to translate customer requirements into manufacturable, compliant, and reliable system designs while supporting production, testing, and continuous improvement efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as technical owner for assigned fluid power and pressure control systemsDesign and develop hydraulic, pneumatic, and pressure-based systems including component selection, sizing, and integrationCreate and review engineering drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and BOMsPerform system calculations (pressure, flow, force, thermal, safety factors)Support pressure testing system design, control strategies, and safety complianceLead troubleshooting, validation testing, and root cause analysisPartner with manufacturing to resolve technical issues and improve production efficiencySupport compliance with applicable pressure and fluid power standardsMentor junior engineers and assist in customer technical discussionsQualifications5-10 years of experience in fluid power, hydraulics, pneumatics, pressure control, or engineered industrial equipmentBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline preferredStrong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic circuit designExperience with pressure vessels or high-pressure systems preferredProficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD softwareAbility to interpret and create technical drawings and P&IDsFamiliarity with ASME, API, NFPA, or related standards is a plusStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyCompensation & ScheduleCompetitive pay based on experience and qualificationsMonday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (OT as needed)Minimal to moderate travelIf you are a technically driven engineer ready to lead complex pressure system designs and make a direct impact on product performance and reliability, we encourage you to apply.
