Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Antonio, TX, for a Building Engineer at Hotel Emma. The Building Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will perform regular inspections, troubleshoot and address maintenance issues, and ensure the overall functionality and safety of the property. This individual will work closely with the facility management team to implement preventive maintenance plans and ensure an exceptional guest experience. Qualifications Proficiency in Building Maintenance, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair building systems efficientlyKnowledge and hands-on experience in Plumbing and Maintenance & RepairExperience in Facility Management and ensuring safe and effective facility operationsSkill in implementing and performing Preventive Maintenance programsStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamGood communication skills and commitment to providing excellent servicePrevious experience in hospitality or a similar environment is a plusRelevant certifications or licensure in building systems, HVAC, or other technical fields is highly desirable
