Our elite global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit an experienced Director Business Development to oversee the development and execution of full-cycle business development strategy and serve as a key collaborator with senior white collar litigation partners and practice leaders.Responsibilities:Oversee development and execution of full-cycle business development strategyServe as a key collaborator with senior white collar litigation partners and practice leadersDevelop, execute, track and report on strategic business development plans for client teams, industry groups, and specific partners and practice groupsCollaborate closely with Competitive Intelligence team to gather market research, client information and prospective client intelligenceWork closely with business development analysts to analyze competitors and monitor the litigation market for prospective client lead generation and market developments that can impact current clientsWork closely with practice leadership and the CMO on individual attorney business development and marketing plansCreate pitch materials and respond to RFP requests across the practiceCoordinator with content marketers on the directory and award submission processMentor, coach, train and supervise junior team membersRequirements:Bachelor's Degree10+ years of strategic business development planning and execution experienceAdvanced litigation practice business development leadership experienceExperience with white collar litigation strongly preferredLaw firm business development experience preferred, but candidates with strong white collar litigation business development experience outside of the legal industry will be consideredAdvanced analytical, industry research, market research and client prospecting skillsWell developed cross-selling skillsAdvanced business writing, communication and presentation skillsExperience with litigation, legal software and CRM systemsStrong relationship management and business due diligence skillsTeam management experience
