USPS Contract Mail Carrier

Job description A Mail Carrier, or Mailman, is responsible for delivering letters and packages to commercial and residential areas along a particular route. Their duties include sorting and processing mail at a post office, collecting packages and return mail from drop-off points and traveling by car, or on foot to take each piece of mail to its intended destination. As a subcontractor on this route, you will help assist with the route 3 to 4 days a week between Monday thru Sunday to make sure all mail and packages are delivered to the route. You job title is a Sub Contractor but as a sub contractor you are responsible to assist in every aspect of the route. My expectation of you will be to treat the route as your own and run it as such. You will be trained on the route but I am looking for a person who takes initiative, eager and willing to learn, integral and a fast learner! We are excited about bringing someone to the team but we are looking for someone to help carry this route confidently without being micromanaged.
