Front-End Developer — Web & C# (Junior)

Trading Platform UI · Hybrid · $65,000–$75,000About the roleWe're building the next-generation web trading interface alongside our established C# desktop platform, and we want a junior developer to grow with it. You'll write modern React/TypeScript, current-stack codebase — and get exposure to our C# WinForms trading GUI. It's a rare chance to learn high-reliability financial UI engineering with mentorship and real ownership from day one.What you'll do- Build trading UI components in React 19 + TypeScript — order grids, price displays, dashboards, and entry forms- Work with Material-UI, AG Grid, and Tailwind/Emotion to compose responsive, data-dense trading screens- Wire up real-time market data over WebSocket and manage server/client state with TanStack Query and Zustand- Build forms with React Hook Form + Zod validation (order entry, settings, workspace config)- Write unit tests (Vitest + React Testing Library) and E2E tests (Playwright)- Contribute to our C# / .NET 8 WinForms desktop GUI— grid enhancements, data binding, and real-time feed handlersOur stackWeb: React 19, TypeScript, Vite, Material-UI, AG Grid, Tailwind, TanStack Query, Zustand, WebSocket (JSON over a C++ streaming backend).Desktop: C# / .NET 8 (Windows), WinForms, custom high-performance grids, pub/sub messaging from our C++ services.Must-have- Working knowledge of React and TypeScript/JavaScript- Strong HTML/CSS fundamentals and an eye for clean, usable UI that's responsive to both desktop and mobile devices- Understanding of component composition, props, and hooks- Git basics and a testing mindset- Eagerness to learn the trading/finance domainStrongly preferred- Material-UI or another component library- AG Grid or any data-grid library (we render thousands of live rows)- WebSocket / real-time client patterns- Basic SQL (SELECT queries)- Any C# / .NET exposure (or genuine interest — you'll touch the desktop app)Nice-to-have- Experience with financial/trading UIs or real-time dashboards- Vite, Playwright/Cypress, or PWA experience
