This is a great position for someone who is Retired and looking for something that is not full time.Position Summary: The Field Support Representative (FSR / Floater) is a highly adaptable operational professional responsible for providing on-site coverage and project support across multiple client locations within the assigned region. This role ensures business continuity during employee absences, vacations, and other types of PTO, while also supporting special projects, operational transitions, service enhancements, and new site launches. The FSR must be flexible, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of quickly integrating into diverse site environments while maintaining high service standards. Travel within the designated service area is required.Key Responsibilities:• Customer Service & Reception: Ensure the customer service area is always staffed and functional. Provide reception coverage and handle client interactionsMailroom & Office Support: Assist in all mailroom functions, including sorting, distributing, and handling mail. Support various office services like copy requests and work tickets during coverage or lunch breaks.Backup for staff: Act as a backup for all office staff functions when needed, offering flexibility in adapting to changes in duties or coverage.Maintains records and filesMust have good working knowledge of postal regulationsMust have good working knowledge of computer basicsPerform work in a backup capacity to all staff functionsProvide problem resolutionMay deal with difficult or irate customer periodicallyEnsures equipment is in good working order, equipment maintenanceInterfaces with the client contact when requiredKeeps manager informed of operational efficiencies and potential problemsMay be required to work overtime periodicallyAble to set prioritiesMust be flexible to adapt to changesMust demonstrate leadership qualitiesCover locations in the New York Metropolitan and/or Tri-State AreasTravel when need based on coverage and needsQualifications:High School diploma or GED equivalent required.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.1 to 2 year experience in a mail room or experience at FedEx and/or UPS.Proficiency in MS-Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.Ability to appropriately handle confidential and highly sensitive material.
