We've played a role in building some of America's most iconic landmarks and earned a reputation for doing it right-with performance, precision, and accountability.Job OverviewThis position is responsible for the repair, service, and maintenance of rough terrain, crawler, and mobile cranes, as well as a variety of forklifts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in mechanical systems, including electrical, drivetrain, engines, hydraulics, and computer-controlled systems, and demonstrate a high level of expertise in equipment diagnostics and repairs.ResponsibilitiesRepairing and maintaining rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment, as well as various types of forklifts, with a primary focus on the service and repair of said equipmentMust have a strong background in electrical, drive train, engines, hydraulics, and computer-controlled systemsHas at least 3 - 5 years of experience in the mechanical diagnosing, repairing, and maintenance of mobile crane equipmentWill be able to work evenings and weekends for crane repairs in the shopMust be capable of communicating effectively and professionally with supervisors and other personnelAble to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical)Must be able to perform competent inspections of all cranesAble to lift, up to 40 lbsRequirementsMinimum of 1 year of experience repairing and maintaining rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane construction equipment; vocational training may be considered in lieu of experiencePerform annual certifications and inspectionsAbility to perform tasks independently without direct supervisionComputer literate with the ability to process informationStrong work ethic with a commitment to qualityKnowledgeable in troubleshooting various equipment lines, including Manitowoc, Grove, Terex, Tadano, Broderson, Kobelco, and Liebherr cranesA history of safe work habitsHard worker with a great attitudeMust supply own hand tools and keep up-to-date tool inventory of service truckHave a current valid driver's license along with a clean driving recordAbility to drive a company service truck.
