RN Clinical Manager - Operating Room (Evening Shift)A leading Houston healthcare organization is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Manager to oversee evening and overnight Operating Room operations. This role leads multidisciplinary surgical teams across specialties like neurology, orthopedics, plastics, and ENT, while driving staffing, performance, and process improvements in collaboration with physicians and leadership.Schedule: Full-time evening shift (typically 1:00 PM 10:00 PM, based on needs).Key Responsibilities:Direct daily operations of the operating room, ensuring appropriate staffing and workflow efficiencySupervise, mentor, and develop nursing and support staff across multiple shiftsCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support clinical excellence and patient outcomesParticipate in performance improvement initiatives and departmental planningEnsure compliance with all regulatory standards and nursing board requirementsProvide hands-on clinical support as needed, including serving in a charge nurse capacityManage staffing schedules, recruitment efforts, and employee performance evaluationsPromote a culture of patient-centered care, safety, and continuous improvementRequired Qualifications:Active RN license in Texas (or compact license) in good standingBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationMinimum 2 years of acute care operating room experienceAt least 3 years of current OR leadership or management experienceAbility to work full-time evening/night shifts exclusivelyPreferred Qualifications:Professional certification in a clinical specialty or leadershipStrong communication and team leadership abilitiesKey Skills Required:Operating Room LeadershipStaff Management & DevelopmentClinical Operations OversightInterdisciplinary CollaborationProcess ImprovementWhy This Location?
