Job Title: Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation (Nursing)Location: New YorkShift: 7am - 7pm Job DescriptionDeliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Acute Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity.Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and psychological status and document changes in condition.Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions.Provide education to patients and families regarding care plans, rehabilitation goals, and discharge planning.Continuously monitor patients' progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as needed.Work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR), preferably using Epic.State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.Familiarity with Epic EMR is strongly preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications in rehabilitation nursing are a plus.Fast-paced rehabilitation environment with diverse patient needs.
