As an employee-owned company, our security experts are personally invested in creating safer and more financially secure environments for our customers, colleagues, and communities.Position SummaryThe Technology Systems Programmer (First Shift) is responsible for programming, configuring, maintaining, and supporting security technology systems, including video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems. This role works with a variety of manufacturer platforms and software applications to ensure systems are properly configured, functional, and aligned with customer and company requirements.The Technology Systems Programmer also provides administrative and technical support through data entry, customer and application verification, system troubleshooting, and the use of various software and web-based platforms. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, organization, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Program and configure security system components from manufacturers including DMP, Honeywell, Bosch, DSC, Brivo, Eagle Eye, and other related platformsImplement programming solutions for video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and related security technologiesConfigure and maintain security system software, applications, and web-based platformsEnter and maintain accurate customer demographic and system informationVerify customer information, application information, and system configuration data for accuracyPerform system testing, troubleshooting, and verification to identify and resolve programming or configuration issuesRecognize, assess, and communicate problems and issues affecting system functionality or customer informationCollaborate with internal teams to ensure effective integration, programming, and functionality of security systemsUtilize multiple software applications, databases, and web-based systems to support daily operationsMaintain accurate records and documentation related to customer accounts, system programming, and configurationStay current with industry trends, manufacturer technologies, software updates, and emerging security technologiesPrioritize assignments and responsibilities based on deadlines, workflow, and business needsProvide professional and effective communication with customers, employees, vendors, and internal departments as requiredCompose and respond to business-related emails and other professional correspondenceFollow company procedures and maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalismSupport other technology and administrative functions as assigned to meet business needsOther duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
