Clinic Supervisor, Oregon City Family Practice
Oregon City Family Practice is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and knowledgeable Clinic Supervisor who functions as a working supervisor as well as support to our team of clinic staff. Coordinates and records minutes of clinic staff and department meetings.Leads and participates in clinic and provider meetings at least monthly.Maintains composure in all situations with patients, associates, providers and external contacts.Oversees patient outreach and recall appointments processes.Oversees patient information management processes within the clinic.Essential Job FunctionsSupervision of clinic staff.Maintain performance standards of supervised employees including performance evaluations, discipline, training and development.Lead by example through expertise in daily operations.Delegation and monitoring of all office responsibilities.Effective and timely staffing, training, and evaluating employees, in partnership with Regional Leadership.Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations to assure patient confidentiality.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications and appropriate e-mail updates.Work with other supervisors and regional leadership to facilitate cross-training and ensure inter-department communication and cohesion.Reliable attendance and presence at work.Monitors Qualtrics Dashboard (Patient experience survey feedback) daily and does patient outreach as required.Minimum QualificationsQualifications (experience, skills, knowledge)Prior experience in a medical clinic/ healthcare setting working as a Medical Assistant to be able to assist and follow through with clinical workflowsClinic supervisory/clinic leadership experience of 2+ yearsExperience with scheduling, and back and front office operations to be able to assist in front office workflowKnowledge of accounting, purchasing, and human resource practices/principalsFamiliarity and compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and other regulationsWorking knowledge of Windows-based EMR softwareCompetent with MS Windows software such as Work, Excel, OutlookAccurate and detail oriented; problem solving; pro-active planning; metric development; good organizational skills and communication skills; the ability to work with other department managers and supervisors; experience with management of staff; Ability to manage workload and empower othersEducation/Training RequiredClinic supervisory/clinic leadership experience of 2+ years, requiredMA certification preferredGeneral Physical RequirementsManual dexterity for office machine operation including computer and calculator; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, mobility to complete errands for deliveries, or sitting for extended periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
