This position is responsible for managing specific aspects of remodel and new store projects, including overseeing comprehensive store redesign efforts.ResponsibilitiesProject ExecutionCollaborate closely with the Construction Project Manager to facilitate the design and execution of construction projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and project milestones throughout their lifecycle.Safety CommitmentUphold the Compass for Excellence and Core Values daily, prioritizing safety for Team Members, Vendors, and Guests at all times.Liaison RoleAct as the main point of contact between the Construction Project Manager and contractors/subcontractors, providing regular updates and ensuring all project details are documented throughout the construction process.Logistics ManagementSafely operate a 28-foot delivery box truck, forklift, and electric pallet jack to deliver materials and items to various job sites.Tools and EquipmentSkillfully operate power tools for diverse construction tasks, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.QualificationsExperienceMinimum of 1-2 years of construction knowledge and project management experience in a related field.Leadership SkillsDemonstrated ability to lead by example and think strategically.OrganizationHighly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management abilities.CommunicationExcellent communication and conflict resolution skills.Time ManagementEffective at managing time and prioritizing tasks.MentorshipWillingness to learn and mentor others within the team.Technical SkillsBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Teams for project management purposes.Physical CapabilityAbility to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects (over 50 pounds) regularly.Work EnvironmentWork may involve exposure to various weather conditions, fumes, odors, and noise.Flexibility in schedule is required, including weekends, holidays, and early morning or night shifts as needed.Join our team as a Construction Operations Specialist and contribute to creating exceptional spaces while ensuring safety and quality in every project!Associated Food Stores is an equal opportunity employer.
