Account Director-PR

A growing communications team is seeking an experienced professional to lead client programs and manage day-to-day communications initiatives. This role is well suited for someone with strong agency experience who is comfortable owning client relationships, guiding internal teams, and delivering strategic, high-quality communications work across multiple accounts. Ideal candidates will have automotive and/or B2B experience preferred.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of client accountsLead the development and execution of communications strategies and programsManage workflows, timelines, budgets, and reporting across multiple engagementsProvide clear, thoughtful counsel to clients on communications prioritiesOversee earned media efforts and identify opportunities for proactive coverageDevelop and edit client-facing materials including press releases, media pitches, messaging frameworks, bylines, and presentationsBuild and maintain relationships with relevant media and industry contactsMonitor news, trends, and competitive activity to inform communications opportunitiesMentor and support junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency across deliverablesCollaborate with internal partners to support integrated communications effortsContribute to new business efforts and identify opportunities for account growthRequirements8+ years of experience in public relations or corporate communications with Agency experience strongly preferredProven track record of leading client accounts and earned media programsStrong writing and editing skills across a variety of formatsExperience managing multiple projects or accounts simultaneouslyAbility to think strategically while executing at a tactical levelHighly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledThe Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirementsJ-18808-Ljbffr
