Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer for a Contract position with a client based in Dallas, TX. The position focuses on supporting and administering patient safety and risk event logging applications within a healthcare provider environment.Rate Range: $55/hour to $59/hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer Job Responsibilities IncludeProvide day‑to‑day administration and support for patient safety and risk event logging applications, including Midas Plus (Statit & DataVision) and Riskonnect.Coordinate and lead issue resolution, ensuring critical incidents are addressed promptly and effectively.Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for patient safety event reporting and risk management workflows.Collaborate with software vendors to test, validate, and implement system enhancements and new features.Generate regulatory and operational reports from patient safety applications on an ad‑hoc and scheduled basis.Support integrated workflows with Epic EHR teams (and non‑Epic application teams) as needed.Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date ServiceNow / ITIL documentation.Participate in on‑call rotations for critical incidents, including some weekend support.Ensure adherence to HIPAA, data governance, and organizational security policies.Participate in team meetings and provide updates on risks, workload, and resource needs.Desired Qualifications4+ years of technical application administration experience in a clinical or healthcare application.Direct exposure to patient safety and/or risk event logging applications.Experience managing application support operations, stakeholder communications, and issue resolution in healthcare environments.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Industry Experience: Healthcare provider environment (required).Education: Bachelor’s degree required or clinical equivalent (e.g., RN, BSN, or similar).If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
