Director Of Business DevelopmentDynamis Power Solutions is in pursuit of an astute Director of Business Development. This pivotal role is designed to spearhead our expansion efforts by identifying and forging new client relationships, specifically within the realm of new-build power generation equipment. The successful candidate will embody a strategic vision, coupled with an unwavering drive, to propel Dynamis Power Solutions toward achieving market leadership and sustained growth. Through a blend of strategic planning, market insight, and business acumen, this individual will play a critical role in navigating the complexities of the power generation landscape to secure lucrative opportunities and foster long-term business success.
Essential functions include leading and owning Dynamis' pursuit of new-build power generation orders, owning the Dynamis go-to-market strategy and implementation, development and coordination of marketing strategy for the organization, owning existing and new customer relationships to ensure mutual success for all partners, developing & managing new business sales pipeline with executive-level stakeholders, taking a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business opportunities within all applicable markets, managing proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources, supporting deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiating prices for proactive bids and proposals, monitoring and evaluating industry trends and customer drivers and meeting regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy, assisting the company in positioning the Dynamis platform as the platform of choice for mobile power generation, using technical acumen & relationship with the operations team to ensure a successful transition to operations with new clients, and performing other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
QualificationsPosition requirements include successfully passing a background check and pre-employment drug screening, valid U.S. Driver's License required, daily in-person, predictable attendance. Education/experience level includes technical degree in power generation required, bachelor's degree in business development or relevant field will be considered, successful track record in power generation sales with 10 years of relevant experience required. Qualifications, skills, competencies, and abilities include financial acumen to build proposals that meet company financial targets, proven ability to plan and manage to achieve challenging targets, strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal direction, extensive relationships within the E&P sector executive level highly preferred, excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, strong negotiation and presentation skills, strategic, critical, and creative thinker with strong business sense, and ability to work within cross-functional team environments.
Physical requirements/work environment include the ability to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach, and squat/kneel, sitting at a desk station, keyboarding, and using repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and or fingers, ability to speak clearly and audibly, ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and /or other sounds, ability to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities, exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB, and inclement weather, wearing company-mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE), and ability to lift 20 lbs. independently. Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job demands.
