ARM is an equal opportunity provider that values a diverse and inclusive workplace.Role Description The Senior Loan Officer/Agriculture Lending role is a full-time, on-site position based in Avon, IN. This role is responsible for originating and managing agricultural loan relationships, including identifying prospective clients, assessing their financial needs, and presenting appropriate lending solutions. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing financial statements and crop plans, structuring and underwriting agricultural loan requests, and ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements. The Senior Loan Officer will maintain regular contact with clients, provide ongoing customer service, monitor loan performance, and proactively address risk and credit issues. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams on loan documentation and closing, participating in local agricultural events and community outreach, and contributing to portfolio growth strategies in the region.Qualifications Proven experience in agricultural lending or as a Loan Officer, with a strong understanding of crop production cycles and farm operations.Solid foundation in Finance, including financial statement analysis, credit evaluation, and risk assessment.Hands-on experience with Underwriting processes for commercial or agricultural loans, including structuring terms and collateral analysis.Demonstrated skills in Loan Origination, from prospecting and relationship development through closing and ongoing portfolio management.Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and build long-term client relationships.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Agribusiness, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.Knowledge of agricultural markets, crop insurance, and farm financial management practices is highly beneficial.Proficiency with lending software, CRM tools, and standard office applications; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work on-site in Avon, IN, travel within the region as needed, and participate in local agricultural and community events.
