Senior Associate (New York)
A leading international law firm is seeking a senior-level associate to join its Corporate M&A and Securities practice. This role is ideal for an attorney with 5–7 years of experience focused on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and the full suite of documentation used in M&A and private equity transactions, along with demonstrated proficiency in drafting and negotiating such documents. Experience supporting private equity sponsors and portfolio companies across the full investment lifecycle—including platform acquisitions, add-on transactions, governance matters, and exits—is highly preferred. Familiarity with middle-market deal structures is also strongly desired.Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to effectively manage both internal and external client relationships.
