Physician - Cardiology

Non-Invasive CardiologistSeeking an additional Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a collaborative, growing cardiology service line. This position is due to growth and expansion of services. The role includes an average of 10 to 15 patients per day with NP/PA support. The Non-Invasive Cardiologist will provide outreach services to nearby critical access facilities. This position offers a low-stress, engaging environment within a high-caliber, collegial team. The responsibilities include providing cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Evaluation and management services, interpretation of EKG, echocardiography, cardiac nuclear imaging, and stress echocardiography are key duties. This role also involves reviewing and signing treatment plans for cardiac rehab patients. Additional tasks include performing and interpreting cardioversion and trans-esophageal echocardiography (TEE). Regular collaboration with other medical specialties is essential to meet established standards of care. You will be examining, diagnosing, and providing treatments for various cardiac disease processes. Interpretation of echocardiograms, stress testing, electrocardiograms, and cardiac monitors according to established standards is required. Documenting patient examinations and obtaining pertinent medical history is necessary. Utilization of appropriate risk calculators as part of patient assessment is expected. Integration of data to determine diagnosis and therapeutic plans will be part of your role. Administering prescribed medications in compliance with state laws and practice guidelines is required. You will order and perform appropriate medical procedures in accordance with legal and practice guidelines. Patient and family education regarding medications and treatments is essential. You will also educate patients on health, illness prevention, and healing. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record is critical. The role includes answering patient telephone calls and providing necessary consultations. Participation in physician meetings and policy formation is expected. Staying current with continuing medical education (CME) activities is necessary to meet organizational requirements. Maintaining all licenses and certifications in compliance without restriction is required. Effective communication with colleagues, patients, and administration is essential. Maintaining the quality of clinical practice through professional growth is encouraged. Regular attendance at the assigned job location is necessary. This position may require residency in the local area. Open to visa candidates.
