Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Make an impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist in a large and supportive Florida school district. This contract opportunity, starting June 10th and running through July 16th, provides the chance to work across multiple school sites in West Palm Beach and surrounding areas, engaging with elementary, secondary, and special education populations. Part-time roles are available with schedules between 22 and 26 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, with shifts tailored to the age group you'll serve.Requirements & Desired Experience:Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programActive FL SLP License issued by the Department of HealthCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) requiredPrevious experience in a school setting strongly preferredAbility to work on-site (remote/VOCO work is not available)Strong interpersonal and organizational skillsUp-to-date fingerprint clearance, or willingness to comply with credentialing requirements through the AHCA ClearinghouseSuccessful completion of a video-based eligibility interviewCore Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students as assigned within the districtAssess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for communication disordersOffer direct therapy and collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and familiesMaintain detailed and accurate documentation according to district guidelinesTravel between assigned school sites as needed (multiple placement options available)Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goalsThis contract allows you to work part-time with flexibility through various district locations including elementary and high school campuses, as well as special education settings.
