Using advanced imaging technology, you’ll create detailed cross-sectional images that support life-saving care.This is more than operating equipment—it’s about guiding patients through their experience, helping them feel comfortable and cared for, and working closely with radiologists to deliver accurate, high-quality results.What You’ll DoIn this role, you’ll combine technical expertise with compassionate patient care. You will:Perform CT scans to produce clear, accurate diagnostic imagesPrepare and position patients, explaining the procedure and answering questionsMonitor patients throughout exams to ensure comfort and safetyCollaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to achieve optimal imaging resultsMaintain imaging equipment and follow safety and quality standardsSchedule patients and support smooth daily workflow in the departmentWhat You’ll BringRoleWe’re looking for someone who is both technically skilled and patient-focused. Registration Certification for Contrast Injection in the State of New York. Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).Education and Experience Associate’s degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist; or Equivalent experience gained by the completion of technical training as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an approved school or training institution may be substituted for the above experience requirement.Note As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the Registration Certification for Contrast Injection in the State of New York within six (6) months of their appointment to this title. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within ninety (90) days of their appointment to this title.
