White Pines Lodge located in Mt. Morris, Illinois, is a destination rich in tradition, delicious food and friendly faces! We operate a historic log lodge restaurant, dinner theatre, gift shop and rent cozy cabins nestled in the beautiful White Pines Forest State Park.
Cook Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers
Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
Execute opening and closing procedures
Complete all required food and safety logs
Requirements:
Restaurant experience preferred
Knowledge of food preparation and storage, sanitation requirements and commercial kitchen equipment
Strong communication skills
Ability to stand for the majority of the shift, lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting will be required
HOURLY RATE: $19.00
