We are looking for early childhood educators who hold similar values and want to pass them along to the next generation!Job Responsibilities Greet parents and children with enthusiasm and build relationships with families and coworkers. Educate and provide care for preschoolers by using lesson plans and assisting them with meeting developmentally appropriate milestones. Assist with tending to children's needs throughout the day, such as assisting children with potty breaks, serving lunch and snacks and keeping the classroom neat, clean, organized, and sanitized. Have great classroom management skills and keep the children entertained with fun-filled activities throughout the day. Play, interact, and engage with the children actively throughout the day. Must be able to play on the floor with children. Keep the classroom fun, engaging, and entertaining. Maintain enthusiasm and energy with the children throughout the day. Keep the classroom clean and organized and keep children's items and center toys labeled. Maintain a safe environment in the classroom and on the playgrounds. Must be able to communicate effectively with parents to assist with the child’s success. Minimum of a CDA, Associates Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain. Able to meet state-specific guidelines for the role, pass fingerprinting and background checks, and be willing to follow the state guidelines. Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures at low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children. Ability to speak, read, and write English. Other duties as assigned.
