The company supports OEMs and industrial customers across multiple sectors requiring high-performance, reliable, and customized heating technologies.Recently acquired by a leading Italian global group operating in the thermal comfort and electric components industry, our client is strengthening its North American presence while expanding capabilities in engineered heating solutions for industrial markets. The parent company is internationally recognized for its expertise in water heating, climate comfort systems, components, and energy-efficient thermal technologies.Role OverviewThe General Manager will provide entrepreneurial leadership, strategic vision, and hands-on operational guidance to drive the company toward its next stage of growth. This role requires a strong focus on profitable expansion, achieved through robust sales and distribution strategies, exceptional customer service, and an optimized cost structure aligned with the company’s size and objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to advance the company’s mission, enhance revenue streams, and ensure sustainable profitability and growth.Operational Oversight: direct all business operations to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and achievement of performance targets; review financial and operational reports, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and results; analyze complex situations and provide effective solutions to safeguard business continuity and foster growth; maintain in-depth knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.Culture and Team Development: lead, inspire, and mentor employees to strengthen engagement and build a high-performing management team; promote a collaborative, non-hierarchical, and proactive work environment that; fosters pride and belonging among employees.Customer & Regulatory Management: address customer and regulatory complaints, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and define corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing, and other departments.Policy & Process Management: define, approve, and implement operational procedures, policies, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance.Stakeholder Relations: build and maintain strong, professional relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, owners, and regulatory bodies; represent the company in industry forums, trade associations, and with key stakeholders.Key RequirementsProven experience in sales management and in building and developing high-performing sales organizationsAbility to manage and oversee P&L responsibilityProven track record in business growth and operational excellenceStrong entrepreneurial mindset, organizational and leadership capabilitiesAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsTechnical-industrial B2B backgroundHands-on and entrepreneurial mindsetStrong interest in joining a long-term growth projectExperience preferred within companies operating in industrial heating, electric heating elements, HVAC, thermal management, boilers, dryers, commercial heating, or industrial process heating environments. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with backgrounds in engineered thermal solutions, heat transfer technologies, industrial equipment, or temperature control systems serving OEM customers.Knowledge of Italian language is a plus
