The Ophthalmic Assistant will be responsible for assisting the ophthalmologist with patient examinations, conducting basic diagnostic tests, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining examination equipment. The role also includes tasks such as obtaining medical histories, educating patients about eye care, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. Qualifications Experience in patient care, including obtaining medical histories and educating patients about eye careSkills in conducting diagnostic tests and assisting with patient examinationsProficiency in maintaining and preparing examination equipmentStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCertification as an Ophthalmic Assistant or relevant training and experienceAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentPrevious experience in a medical or eye care setting is a plus
