IT Quality Analyst

UNCOMN is seeking a IT Quality Analyst to: Apply technical expertise to client/contract mission, goals, and desired outcomes. Develop and complete quality project deliverables. Research, identify, and promote industry best practices. Communicate effectively with program/project leaders to manage project scope, team cohesion, and client expectations. Apply applicable position-related tools and processes with limited direction. Independently utilize critical thinking skills and learn to assess and estimate the required level of effort to a task/project based on experience. Develop and apply systems-thinking to assigned tasks. Provide clear and concise documentation and provide recommendations to the project team. Perform complex engineering analysis and implementation tasks, including software development, system assessment, and testing. Build trust through positive interactions with team members and stakeholders. Addresses issues of system integration, compatibility, and software problem resolution. Requirements 8+ years of related experience working in an Agile environment with. Prior experience running tests, writing use cases, performing acceptance testing, and executing test scripts from a user perspective. Familiarity with DoD application workflows and requirements with the ability to manage and understand cross-application workflows. Experience with Scrum methodology, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Proficiency in using Jira (or similar) for project management, issue tracking, and workflow customization. Experience utilizing Confluence (or similar) for documentation, collaboration, and knowledge management. Proficiency creating and managing automated test suites. Familiarity with processes for code quality and security analysis. Experience supporting developers in the debugging process. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about complex technical challenges Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Must hold an active an IAT Level II certification; CompTIA Security+ CE highly preferred. Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility. Preferred Prior experience supporting Global Freight Management (GFM) and/or Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC). Prior experience with SmartBear TestComplete, SonarQube, and XMLSpy. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Active CAPM, CSM, and/or related certifications. Exposure to Fortify for static code analysis and vulnerability scanning. Active Secret clearance granted by the US Government. NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract award. Why UNCOMN?
