DataStaff, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Testing Coordinator for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Atlanta, GA. *This position is remote; however, the selected candidate will need to come onsite for meetings.Job Description:The Project (Testing) Coordinator role is tasked with the overall responsibility for the test effort's success. The role involves the coordination and scheduling of testing activities, quality and test advocacy, resource planning and management, and escalation of issues that impede the test effort. This covers:Negotiating the ongoing purpose and deliverables of the test effortEnsuring the appropriate planning and management of the test resourcesAssessing the progress and effectiveness of the test effortAdvocating the appropriate level of quality by using risk-based testing approach Advocating an appropriate level of testability focus in the software development processPrimary Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder supervision, applies project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques in supporting project leads. Drives the development and application of project management methodology and cultureUnderstand the testing effort by analyzing the requirements of project.Estimate and obtain management support for the time and resources required to perform the testing.Work with Project Managers and Workstream Leads to assign testing resources to specific business processes within workstreams.Ensure all test scenarios have been provided by Workstream leads.Coordinate and follow up on the development of test scriptsEnsure data has been staged to support test scenarios and scriptsCollaborate with workstream leads/resources to ensure testing steps are sequenced accuratelyCollaborate with workstream leads/resources to ensure test data is accurately identified and documents for each test scriptEnsure access to test environments and application security has been completed to facilitate successful testing activitiesArrange the facilities, and any equipment requirement for the testing.Ensure that testing responsibilities are assigned to all testing team members and that all of them understand their testing work in the projectEnsure content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is documented and maintainedDocument, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organizationCheck / Review the test script documentsKeep track of the testing outcomes including but not limited to new requirements or changes in requirements. Escalate testing results that impact project requirements Testing Manager Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report Attend the regular project team meetings and discuss the weekly status with the team.Communication with the testing resources as needed.Track and prepare the report of testing activities including testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.Review various reports prepared by TestersEnsure the timely delivery of different testing milestonesSkills and CompetenciesStrong organizational skills: Testing coordinators must be able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at once, including scheduling test dates, coordinating with other members of the testing team, and ensuring that all testing materials are prepared and ready to go.Excellent communication skills: Testing coordinators must be able to communicate effectively with other members of the testing team, as well as with other stakeholders. They must be able to explain testing procedures and policies clearly and concisely.Attention to detail: Testing coordinators must be able to pay close attention to detail when preparing testing materials. They must be able to ensure that all test items are accurate and that all testing procedures are followed correctly.Strong problem-solving skills: Testing coordinators must be able to identify problems or issues that arise during the testing process and develop effective solutions to address them.Familiarity with testing software and technology: Testing coordinators must be comfortable working with a variety of testing software and technology tools, including test administration software, data analysis tools, and online testing platforms.Education:Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of IT related experience. OR Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and three years of IT related experience. Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.Required:Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of IT related experience.OR Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and three years of IT related experienceDesired Skill: 1.5 Years - Experience as a Testing Coordinator for an enterprise Workday Implementation (HR and/or FIN)This position is available as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
