Secondary Science Teacher

Position Summary: Western Career Prep High School is seeking one (1) full-time science teacher with an endorsement in Science (DX or DI) for the 2026-27 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Science curriculum to 9th-12th grade students while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities & Skills:Curriculum Delivery: Responsible for delivering the Science curriculum to high school students.Student Engagement: Ability to connect meaningfully with middle school students.Collaboration: Actively participate in a Professional Learning Community (PLC).Subject Expertise: Possess specific subject area knowledge in Science.Communication: Regularly communicate with students, families, staff, and other stakeholders.Problem Solving: Strong ability to problem-solve and seek creative solutions. Qualifications:Certification: Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate.Endorsement: Must have an endorsement in Science (DX or DI).Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
