Opportunity: RN - ORJob Details: • Work 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM shifts with liver call coverage • Will perform other surgical cases if no liver/transplant procedures scheduled • Must have strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience (non-negotiable requirement) • Must be proficient in MISONIX/CUSA equipment • Required experience putting organs back in new patients, not just harvesting • 2 years of direct liver/transplant OR RN experience required • On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month • Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts • Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) • Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine drug screen required • 40 hours of orientation required • EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each • Non-billable modules averaging 6-15 hours must be completed pre-start • Scrub color: Ceil Blue • Electronic charting system: EPIC • Must participate in training students and new staff as this is a teaching facility • Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics • All RTO must be submitted at time of application onlyFacility: This 230-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital specializes in complex transplant procedures including liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplants.
