Automotive Salesperson
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Salesperson to join our BMW of Akron team. The ideal candidate will excel in outside sales, customer engagement, and building lasting relationships to drive high-end vehicle sales. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills, a passion for automobiles, and experience in retail or B2B sales. The Automotive Salesperson will be responsible for managing the sales pipeline, upselling vehicles, and providing exceptional customer service to meet and exceed sales targets.
Duties
Engage with prospective customers through outbound calls, cold calling, and B2B outreach to generate new leads and expand the sales pipeline
Conduct in-depth consultations with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicle options
Negotiate deals effectively, utilizing strong sales management and negotiation skills to close high-end vehicle sales
Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage inventory control, and follow up on leads
Upsell additional products and services such as warranties, accessories, and financing options to maximize revenue
Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer information, and inventory management
Deliver compelling presentations and participate in public speaking engagements to promote dealership offerings
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for increasing dealership visibility and customer engagement
Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire sales process, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat business
Support dealership operations by assisting with inventory management, retail math calculations, and maintaining a professional appearance on the showroom floor
Qualifications
Proven experience in automobile sales, retail sales, or dealership environments is preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and public speaking abilities
Proficiency with CRM software and familiarity with inventory management systems
Demonstrated success in outside sales, B2B sales, or high-end automotive sales environments
Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals confidently while maintaining professionalism
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases
Knowledge of automotive inventory control, marketing strategies, and retail math is advantageous
Strong interpersonal skills combined with a customer-focused approach to ensure satisfaction and loyalty

Pay: $60,212.33 - $72,513.77 per year
