Mobile UI Developer – Lead (iOS/Android)Location: RemoteDuration: 6-12 MonthsWork Model: RemoteJob Description:We are seeking a Lead Mobile UI Developer with strong experience building modern, high-performance mobile applications across iOS and/or Android. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in mobile UI development, Reactive Programming, asynchronous programming, and modern mobile architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of scalable, responsive, and high-performance mobile UI applications for iOS and/or Android.Build reusable UI components and establish best practices for mobile UI development.Develop reactive, event-driven user interfaces using Reactive Programming concepts and frameworks.Work with asynchronous data streams, state management, API responses, and real-time UI updates.Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, architects, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.Design and implement clean, maintainable architectures using patterns such as MVVM, MVP, MVI, Clean Architecture, or similar.Optimize application performance, responsiveness, memory usage, and UI rendering.Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and provide technical leadership.Troubleshoot complex UI, concurrency, performance, and integration issues.Ensure applications follow mobile accessibility, security, and development best practices.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience in mobile UI development for iOS and/or Android.Strong knowledge of Reactive Programming and reactive/event-driven application development.Experience with reactive frameworks/libraries such as:iOS: Combine, RxSwiftAndroid: Kotlin Flow, Coroutines, RxJava.Strong experience with Swift/SwiftUI/UIKit and/or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, threading, and state management.Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON, SDKs, and backend services.Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.Experience developing reusable and scalable UI components.Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.Experience with Git, CI/CD, unit testing, and automated testing.Proven ability to provide technical leadership and mentor other developers.Preferred SkillsExperience working with both iOS and Android platforms.Experience with SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, or other modern declarative UI frameworks.Experience with real-time applications, event streams, WebSockets, or push notifications.Experience with mobile analytics, crash monitoring, and performance tools.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.EEO: MindLance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.
