This includes drafting RFI, RFP, and other procurement-related documentation necessary for sourcing, contract negotiations, and maximizing / leveraging BCD Travel's sourcing and purchasing power. This position manages accountable supplier relationships while maintaining the Global Strategic Sourcing Project List, the Global Strategic Sourcing Contract Repository, and other departmental vendor programs.As a Director, Strategic Sourcing, you willNegotiate contracts with preferred suppliers (global, regional, country, 3rd party aggregators, wholesalers, etc.)Manage contract renewal terms and datesDevelop and implement Supplier Service Level Agreements (SLA)Establish and maintain business relationships, including business owners, to identify needs and requirements; Senior Vice President, Global Strategic Sourcing for approval processes, Finance and accounting as needed for guidance on related matters, and Legal, data privacy, and security departments regarding contract compliance, NDA, and timelines Implement, monitor, and report results of financial targetsMaintain programs and databases, ensuring all assigned projects are complete and updated frequentlyUtilize the most efficient sourcing strategy to satisfy requests based on the scope of work required, the materiality of the project, and other pertinent business factorsLead the efforts of a Director of Sourcing and a Director of ProcurementAbout YouExtensive Indirect Spend Supply Chain Management experience is requiredPrior experience working on technology, telecommunications, and other types of sourcing engagements, specifically experience with licensingPrior experience working on all HR benefit categories while partnering closely with Human Resources and external suppliers to optimize value, manage risk, ensure compliance, and improve employee experience across benefits offerings History of successfully negotiating with such as Google, Microsoft, SAP, Salesforce, AWS, and other Saas related entitiesExcellent communication skills: oral, written, and presentation in English are requiredHighly proficient in one or more additional languages, such as Dutch, German, or Spanish, preferredYou have a College, Associate, or University degree or equivalent experience, preferredProven capability to manage cross-functional work teamsAbility and willingness to travel domestically and internationallyCPM, CPSM, or Six Sigma certification preferredWhat We Offer YouAt BCD Travel, we work with highly motivated and passionate people. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Director, Strategic Sourcing (Indirect Procurement) is between $115,000 and $132,000.
