Industrial Painter

We are looking for an experienced IRATA Level III Alpinist Painter to join offshore projects in Mexico and the USA. This role involves advanced painting, corrosion control, and team supervision in oil & gas environments.This position is ideal for senior offshore professionals with strong expertise in rope access, industrial painting, and corrosion management. The role combines technical execution with supervision responsibilities, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency on offshore vessels.Main Tasks & Responsibilities:Apply and oversee anti-corrosion coating systems on offshore equipment and structuresSupervise and verify execution of maintenance and corrective painting activitiesIdentify corrosion issues and define appropriate treatment solutionsPrepare surfaces and ensure proper application of coating systemsUse and supervise the use of painting tools and equipment (spray systems, mechanical tools)Ensure proper paint preparation and mixing processesComplete and review reports, timesheets, and documentationEnsure compliance with safety protocols and permit systemsLead and execute rescue plans and work-at-height proceduresMaintain clear communication with project coordinators and offshore teamsMonitor materials, consumables, and stock levels onboardMaintain clean and safe working areas at all timesRequirements:IRATA Level III certification (mandatory)High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years of offshore experienceProven experience in supervising painting crewsStrong knowledge of coating inspection and application standardsExperience in offshore painting, corrosion control, and maintenanceTechnical Knowledge:Surface preparation tools (grinders, scrubbers, polishers, etc.)Paint systems (single-component, multi-component, catalytic coatings)Marine coating application and repairNational and international coating standardsCertifications and Documents:Valid Seaman’s BookOffshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET / T-BOSIET, RIGPASS, CBSP)Work at Heights & Confined Space certificationsOGUK Medical Fitness CertificateValid passport (US visa is an advantage)Industrial Painting, Corrosion, or NACE certification (preferred)What we offer:Competitive salary.Medical, dental, and vision benefits (according to policy).Yearly vacation according to the company policy.Rotation schedule: 15 days offshore / 15 days at home (approx.).International offshore work experience.If you meet the requirements and are ready for your next offshore challenge, we invite you to apply and become part of a professional and dynamic working environment.
